Golden Gate Yacht Club/BMW Oracle Racing (USA), Defenders for the The 34th America’s Cup, are responsible together with the Challenger of Record, Mascalzone Latino (ITA), to put together the timing, locations and format of racing for the 34th America’s Cup together with the protocol document (the rules). These announcements/decisions are being released during 2010. Teams can formally ‘challenge’ for the 34th America’s Cup event from 1st November 2010 onwards.
